NaNoWriMo 07

I've joined NaNoWriMo 07 - I'm going to write a Novel in November!

NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month - a bunch of lunatics pledge that they'll write at least 50,000 (that's fifty thousand) words during the month of November, and create a novel.

My friend Carmen inspired me to write again, 15 years after I gave up on writing fiction. We've been working on a story together, but that's a different blog entry entirely. The point is, I'm writing again! Yay! (yeah yeah, none of you knew I was writing 15 years ago, did you? nope1)

I pledge to write 50,000 words in the month of November.

My username on NaNoWriMo.org is, of course, squiddy - be sure to follow my progress, because I'm told the only way to get through week two is the fear of embarrassing myself before my friends and family :)

I have 30 days to prepare... writing starts at 00:01 on November 1.
